Benedictine Sisters (O.S.B.), St. Placid Priory, Lacey, WA [Code: 580]

We are a monastic community of fourteen Sisters who live under the Rule of St. Benedict. We share a balanced life of prayer, work, hospitality, simplicity, and service. Our main ministry is prayer. We pray chanting the Liturgy of the Hours, Centering Prayer, and Lectio Divina. Our ministries are mainly in the Priory Spirituality Center where we offer hospitality to our guests for individual and group retreats. Also, we offer long term certificate programs: two years formation for spiritual directors and one-year ecumenical prayer practices for everyone. Our Sisters are engaged in academic teaching, creative arts, spiritual direction and care for the land. We are located in Lacey, WA. If you are a single woman between the ages of 20 and 45 who longs for a life with deep meaning, come and see how we live. We welcome you and the gifts that you bring.
