As Missionaries, we go out of ourselves to encounter others by, in the words Pope Francis, “being close to those crushed by life’s troubles, sharing with the needy, standing at the side of the sick, elderly and the outcast.” We are Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus—passionate and bold in responding to the most urgent needs of our world. Our works include healthcare for the poor and uninsured, elder care, education, low-income housing, advocacy for immigrants and persons who are trafficked, faith formation and human promotion. We are in 15 countries around the world. We are vowed sisters, lay missionaries, volunteers and many others who collaborate in our works—all seeking to be a creative and compassionate expression of Christ’s love in the world. Come. Join us.
